Hugh has led fund investments in over 100 venture, growth equity, and buyout funds. He served as CIO at Colby College and co-head of venture capital and private equity investments at Kamehameha Schools. Additionally, he has spent ten years in growth equity and small buyout investing at TA Associates and Crescent Private Capital.

In 2012 Brad Stadler co-founded True, a global executive talent platform recognized for disrupting its industry. Under Brad's co-leadership True became the industry’s sixth-largest firm, with a global footprint across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Brad is also co-founder and general partner of True Equity, an investment fund providing indexed exposure to top-tier venture capital investments. He serves as Chair of The Diabetes Link, a nonprofit supporting young adults living with Type 1 diabetes. Prior to founding True, Brad and co-founder Joe Riggione established and built IronHill Partners, a national retained search firm acquired by Heidrick & Struggles (NASDAQ: HSII) in 2008.

Akhil is an associate at True Equity, having joined the team in February 2021. His responsibilities include daily top-of-funnel analysis and fund operation management. Additionally, he serves as an associate on the finance team at True Search, where he works on M&A transactions and performs FP&A analyses. Akhil is a graduate of Colgate University, where he was as a Division I golfer.
